What else earns us money
When you buy something through a link we suggest, the retailer pays us a small commission — usually a few percent of the sale. The cookbook you bought Sarah last month? Amazon paid us about $1.20.
Here’s the important part: we figure out what to recommend before we check whether a link earns us anything. Our recommendations are ranked by what fits you and the people you’re shopping for, not by what pays us more.
We’ll publish our first annual transparency report after our first full year of operation.
What we won’t do
- We don’t sell your data, anonymized or otherwise
- We don’t show ads
- We don’t accept payment to promote one product over another
- We don’t pay-to-unlock privacy features
- We don’t use third-party retargeting or behavioral-ad tracking
If we ever decide to change any of this, we’ll announce it to all users at least 60 days before it takes effect. You can cancel anytime without penalty if you don’t agree with a change.
